Craig,

Thanks for posting the project code, loading the code now, looking forward =
to working with the new version.

I wanted to ask about another one of your projects. What are you using for =
the s100 cpu board? It appears that it may be the workalike for the ssm cb1=
/cb1a, and the cb1 a confidence test code.

I have been looking for a s100 cpu board and backplane on ebay but found no=
thing I am interested in that doesn=E2=80=99t cost a fortune.

Can you suggest a board or is the ssm board and backplane you created the b=
est solution? It seems to be the best, as most of the ebay hardware is lack=
ing on the documentation side.

I see you have the build files available, so I can try to find a us based m=
anufacturer to make them (I don=E2=80=99t want to get involved with the tar=
iffs that are imposed buying out of the country).

The S100 systems are where I learned assembly language, without an assemble=
r. That=E2=80=99s why I started with your SBC-85 and STD bus cpu cards.

Thanks Again.

Regards,

George

Craig,

Just watched your 145 video on the nibbler wrap up. Nice addition to the mo=
nitor the E command. Looking forward to running this version on my system. =
The project site doesn=E2=80=99t have the code yet. It has 0.1.6.b which do=
esn=E2=80=99t have the assembler command.

This is a great series and I continue to learn about the processor and writ=
ing codefor it.

Any idea what processor you will be looking at for your next series?? (8052=
, 1802, or something else?). Looking forward to what ever you decide to exp=
lore.

Thanks Again for the great work.

George

Hi George, I saw the tindie order, thanks

Somewhere I set aside the last nibbler Ram board for you, but I don=E2=80=

Craig,

Very nice addition to the monitor. This makes it easy to code on the fly an=
d not require the assembler for testing.

Looking forward to adding this to what I have.

Just reviewed your SBC-85 cassette interface video, and that peaked my inte=
rest, so I will probably try to get the board from your tindie site today. =
Another project to put on the to-work-on later this winter, If only to unde=
rstand how it works.

Hi George,

A taste of the new =E2=80=98E=E2=80=99 command to enter instructions as mne=
monic and operand.

Includes a .DA pseudo opcode to enter ascii directly and a .DB to enter hex=
 bytes.

Craig,

Finally got most of the parts for the ram/rom boards.

<image002.png>

Everything works great!

Backplane only has 3 connectors, but I have enough to fill out as needed.

I wish I had put zif sockets on the nibbler board, to swap in/out nibble ba=
sic eproms, but this can be fixed with a normal socket under a zif. (maybe =
another nibbler board just for nibble basic is in order)

Thanks Again for all your help and work on these.

Regards,

George
