We wanted to let you know that we= =E2=80=99ve identified active content on your listings that isn't compliant= with our Javascript policy:

Content such as JavaScript, Flash, or other plug-ins can cause sec= urity risks and increase page load times, especially on mobile devices. To = make sure your buyers have a great experience across all devices, and to av= oid any negative impact on your sales, please remove this content from your= existing listings as soon as possible and refrain using this type of conte= nt in future listings. We=E2=80=99ll also be implementing some restrictions= based on the dates below.

Key dates

May 2= 7: New listings with active content will be blocked from being published. <= br />July 29: If you try to revise a live listing that contains active cont= ent, the revisions won=E2=80=99t be published. You=E2=80=99ll need to remov= e active content to revise the listing.
August 30: Active content in = live listings won=E2=80=99t be visible, and important information may not a= ppear properly. You=E2=80=99ll need to revise and remove active content fro= m these listings.
September 30: We may take action against listings th= at still contain active content, including ending or hiding them entirely.<= br />
What you need to do if you list directly on eBay=E2=80=99s platf= orm

1. Use our active content filter (https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active/active-con= tent) to check which of your listings are impacted. The filter will onl= y show up to 10,000 listings.
2. Once you identify them, revise the l= istings by checking the Show HTML box in the item description field. You ma= y need to select Show all options to view the box.
3. Then, look for = the tag starting with , and delete everyt= hing in between, including the two tags. If you use our desktop listing too= ls, the active content should be automatically removed when you revise the = listing and select the Show HTML box.
4. Finally, preview the listing= and if everything looks good, publish it.

Don=E2=80=99t forget= to review your listings that are live on eBay=E2=80=99s global sites. If y= ou're using a listing template by a third-party provider, contact them to d= etermine how you can stay compliant with our policy.
