Hi Stephan

Ok, thanks I will check that out too.=20

I think I will do a video on the tester after all. As I have mentioned, the c=
apabilities of the tester are fantastic I have some questions and would like=
your thoughts on a couple of things-

I couldn=E2=80=99t find them, are schematics available? What are your thoug=
hts on releasing them?

Finding the chip in the menu is inherently difficult, a small screen and swi=
tches just isn=E2=80=99t the most efficient way of finding something.=20
What do you think of also allowing chip selection via a simple unique chip I=
D rather than chip mfg number. e.g., xxx-yyy and pretty much sequential wit=
h no relationship to chip number. It would allow a quick and thorough part n=
umber search of the master PDF on the computer, and then would speed up sele=
cting component with just ID number.

A means of communicating with the tester from the computer would have been u=
seful. I am wondering why you decided not to include an interface. Even a s=
erial port and terminal would be advantageous. If the hardware isn=E2=80=99=
t there, it may need to be a daughter boards at this point, or use the memor=
y card slot.=20

Do you have any plans to test more sophisticated chips and processors F8, 80=
08, 8080, 4040, 4004? I guess I haven=E2=80=99t searched to see if it can d=
o any cpus or programmable support chips like UART and programmable IO.

Best regards
Craig
